Can you believe that the Power Rangers have been fighting crime for the last 30 years?
The best Power Ranger toys allow your child to imagine they are right in the middle of a battle themselves. With fun features like sound effects and voice activation, it’s no wonder Power Ranger toys have been able to remain popular after all these years.
Best Power Ranger Toy Set
The Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel 6 Pack comes with more action figures than any other toy on our list, giving more opportunities for group playtime.
Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel Epic Hero Action Figure 6 Pack
The Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel Epic Hero Action Figure 6 Pack with Red Ranger is the perfect starter kit for any Power Ranger fan or anyone else who wants to add to their collection. Inspired by the Power Rangers show, your kiddo will enjoy setting their action figures up for battle.
Included in the six-pack are the Villian Skullgator, Villian Galvanax, Lion Fire Armor Red Ranger, Lion Fire Armor Blue Ranger, Lion Fire Armor Gold Ranger, and Red Ranger. In addition, they each come equipped with character-inspired accessories. The weapons aren’t attached to the Rangers, so your child can interchange them as they please.
The accessories are small, so it’s important to keep them out of little hands. The 6-pack is best suited for children ages 4 and up.
Finally, each Power Ranger stands 5″ tall, making them a perfect size to stop any villains in their way.

Best Power Ranger Sabers and Masks
The Playskool Heroes Zord Saber and Red Ranger Mask are better for younger kids, while the Power Rangers Beast Morphers Red Ranger Mask, Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X King Spin Saber, and Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X Electronic Saber are best for older kids.
Power Rangers Beast Morphers Red Ranger Mask
The Power Rangers Beast Morphers Red Ranger Mask will make your child feel like a real Power Ranger from the moment they put it on. Inspired by the beast rangers from the TV series, the plastic mask has an adjustable strap making it easy to fit onto your child.
It doesn’t have to be Halloween for a child to enjoy costume play. Costume play or dress-up encourages creative thinking in children, as well as communication skills. In addition, if your little Ranger is playing with others, it helps them work on teamwork and social skills.
I, personally, thoroughly enjoy watching my kids play dress-up. Their imaginations really soar when they let themselves pretend to be whatever they want to be.
The Morphers Red Ranger Mask is best suited for children 5 years and up. Younger kids may have a hard time with the mask staying on, which could get frustrating for them.
Your child will be saying, “It’s Morphin Time!” in no time!
Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X King Spin Saber
If your child is wanting to feel like they are in a real battle, look no further than the Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X King Spin Saber.
Kids will enjoy how interactive the saber is. Firstly, when your child presses the button on the sword and swings their arm, the sword spins 360 degrees. Your child will easily be able to imagine the martial arts performed by their favorite Rangers.
The unique spinning feature sets it apart from other sabers on the market. The evil Evox doesn’t stand a chance against your own Power Ranger.
Finally, the Spin Saber is best for children ages 5 and up. Measuring 2.54 x 5 x 25.51 inches, the saber weighs 10.6 ounces.
Looking for other swords to help entertain your child all while not hurting their sibling? We have you covered on the best Nerf swords and shields!
Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X Electronic Saber
The Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X Electronic Saber is the ultimate choice in swords.
Firstly, the saber responds to your child’s movements with a variety of lights and sounds. It’s a very interactive sword your child will thoroughly enjoy.
I do feel the saber is a bit heavier than others on the market, so it’s important for your kiddo to be careful when swinging it around. Perhaps remind them they are role-playing and not in a real battle. So, no hitting their siblings with it. I know that reminder comes up often in my house.
Finally, your child will like the secret feature to unlock “beast mode.” By swinging the sword 7 times, they will engage special battle sound effects and lights.
The saber is best for children ages 5 and up. As mentioned, it’s a bit heavier than others, weighing 1.6 lbs, and measures 2.76 x 27.76 x 6.13 inches. Smaller hands may have a difficult time holding the wider base.
Playskool Heroes Zord Saber and Red Ranger Mask
The Playskool Heroes Zord Saber and Red Ranger Mask is perfect for smaller Power Rangers fan.
Firstly, the mask is sized to fit preschoolers. I, personally, like that the face isn’t covered up. With my kids, I’ve noticed they don’t like when masks completely cover their face. I feel they would be more likely to keep this Red Ranger Mask on since it doesn’t block their face.
The mask will probably fit kids ages 3-5 the best. Older kids might find it to be a bit snug. It is made of a hard plastic, making it very durable.
Secondly, also included is the Zord Saber, inspired by the Red Ranger’s T-rex Zord. With the touch of a button, kids can launch projectiles out of the Saber’s mouth. Only one projectile is included. This is probably the only downside of the saber. If your child loses it, then there’s no backup.
Finally, I think the price is right with the Heroes set. Your kiddos will be ready for battle in no time. The set is ideal for children 3-7. I personally feel the younger kiddos will like it best.

A Morph-x key is included which will unlock other phrases and sounds, allowing for even more fun. Your child can even record their own voice onto it. Morph-x keys that come with other Power Ranger items (sold separately) are compatible for use.

Finally, it requires 2 AAA batteries to operate, which are included. The Morpher is best suited for children ages 5 and up. Measuring at 2.63 x 7.5 x 10.75 inches, the device weighs just under 11 ounces. Tiny wrists won’t be the best fit for the Morpher.
Power Rangers Ninja Steel DX Battle Morpher
The Power Rangers Ninja Steel DX Battle Morpher brings both a Morpher and Battle Gear all into one toy.
Firstly, the Morpher has hidden weapons to enable three unique battle modes:
- Sword Mode
- Claw Mode
- Morpher Mode
In addition, it comes equipped with an automatic pop-up sword. Included are two ninja stars that can be used to activate sounds when connected to the Morpher.
Secondly, any stars from other Ninja Steel toys are compatible with the DX Battle Morpher. While they are sold separately, it’s always fun to be able to combine toys.
Finally, the Morpher requires 3 LR44 batteries. Thankfully, the uncommon battery type is included. The recommended age is for kiddos 4 and up. There are some pointy parts to the toy so it’s important to keep it away from faces while your child is in the midst of a battle.
Power Rangers Beast Morphers Cheetah Claw
For the ultimate in Red Power Ranger role play is the Power Rangers Beast Morphers Cheetah Claw.
Firstly, when your child does slashing movements while wearing the claw, it will activate sound effects. In addition, it will also extend the claws inside. With the push of a button, they retract until the next battle.
Your child will thoroughly enjoy pretending they are taking on villains while wearing their Cheetah Claw.
Finally, the Cheetah Claw is best for kiddos ages 5 and up. You might want to watch your children when using the claw so they don’t accidentally knock anything over.
The claw measures 2.88 x 13.5 x 8 inches and weighs just under 1 lb.
Best Power Ranger Megazords
The Power Rangers Playskool Heroes Power Morphin Megazord is best for younger kids and more affordable than both the Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X Megazord and Power Rangers Dino Charge T-Rex Zord.
Power Rangers Playskool Heroes Power Morphin Megazord
Kids will thoroughly enjoy creating their own adventures with the two-foot-tall Power Rangers Playskool Heroes Power Morphin Megazord.
Children as young as three will get a thrill out of the lights and sounds coming out of the over-sized Megazord. In addition, the Zord is a 2-in-1, transforming between the giant Megazord and a fearsome beast. Well, as fearsome as a toy for 3 years old can be.
The lion on the chest of Megazord pops out for action-packed fun full of lights and sounds. Also included is a 3″ red Power Ranger, ready to take on the massive Megazord.
Finally, the extra-large Zord can shoot off projectiles with a push of a button and features a jail cell and a vehicle ramp.
For such a large toy with several unique features, I am impressed with the low price tag. I feel the Megazord would make a great gift for a young Power Ranger fan. Ideally, the toy is for children ages 3-7.
Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X Megazord
The Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X Megazord brings together the red Ranger, blue Ranger, and yellow Ranger for the ultimate power force.
Firstly, the Megazord stands 10″ tall and comes equipped with a sword and shield to protect himself from any enemies in its way.
It should be noted that it doesn’t transform into anything else. It’s just the one main Megazord. In addition, the accessories are small and easy to misplace.
Finally, the recommended age is 5 and up. I will say, it would be nice if it had any extra features like sound or lights. However, you can pair it with other of the best Power Ranger toys and your child is sure to have a fun time.
Power Rangers Dino Charge T-Rex Zord
Your child is bound to have plenty of adventures while playing with the Power Rangers Dino Charge T-Rex Zord.
Firstly, when you push down on the dino’s back, it will spring up. The dino’s tail moves back and forth and its head “chomps.”
The Dino Charge T-Rex Zord is inspired by the Team-Up episode of Beast Morphers. Your child can watch along and have their own battle in the convenience of your living room.
Finally, if you have older versions of Zords, you likely will notice this is a larger model than those. However, the updated version has new features sure to please your favorite Power Ranger fan.
The Dino is recommended for children ages 4 and up and measures 3.19 x 13 x 10 inches.
Best Power Ranger Rangers
The Power Rangers Playskool Heroes Green Ranger is best for younger kids and more affordable than both the Power Rangers Mighty Morphin Red Ranger and Fisher-Price Imaginext Power Rangers Goldar and Rita.
Power Rangers Mighty Morphin Red Ranger
Inspired by the original TV series and equipped with a power sword is the Power Rangers Mighty Morphin Red Ranger.
Firstly, the Red Ranger comes equipped with flexible hands, making it easy to get their weapons ready in their hands. While it just comes with one sword, you can easily swap out other weapons of the Power Ranger action figures that are sold separately.
Finally, your child can collect all the original Power Rangers characters and have the whole team fight any villain that gets in their way.
The Red Ranger is recommended for children ages 4 and up. The lightweight action figure comes in at 8.8 ounces and measures 12″ in height.
Power Rangers Playskool Heroes Green Ranger
If you are looking for a Ranger toy for younger kiddos, look no further than the Power Rangers Playskool Heroes Green Ranger.
Firstly, the Green Ranger has 6 points of articulation including their waist, arms, head, and wrist. Kids as young as 3 will enjoy posing the Ranger for their next play battle.
Secondly, the larger framed Ranger makes it easier for little hands to get a good grasp on it. Whether they are fighting against Rita Repulsa or another villain attacking the city of Angel Grove, your child will be ready with their Green Ranger.
Finally, I have always been a fan of the Playskool brand. They have been around for nearly 100 years and consistently make quality products for younger kiddos. Why let the big kids have all the fun?
The Green Ranger is ideal for kids ages 3-7. It’s fairly lightweight at 9.7 ounces and stands at 10″ in height.
Fisher-Price Imaginext Power Rangers Goldar and Rita
Your child can reenact their favorite scenes from the TV series with the Fisher-Price Imaginext Power Rangers Goldar and Rita.
Firstly, the set includes a Deluxe Goldar figure and a Rita Repulsa figure, along with her magic wand. Your kiddo can turn on the power pad on Goldar’s back to move his right arm and release his wings.
Your child can use their imagination to pick what Rita Repulsa will command Goldar to do. Rita Repulsa can stand upon Goldar’s power pad ready to fight the Power Rangers.
Secondly, the Goldar figure stands about 12″ tall and Rita Repulsa stands about 2.5″ tall.
Finally, the set is best for kiddos ages 3-8. In addition, I find the Imaginext toys to be well-built and great for younger kids. I also find the set to be reasonably priced.

How to Choose a Power Ranger Toy
When picking the best Power Ranger toys, there are several aspects to look at. From added features to toys for a variety of ages, I made sure to put plenty of thought into the list. Here’s a rundown of what mattered most.
Extra Features Included
A simple toy is fun, but some of the best Power Ranger toys are also equipped with sounds, lights, and even the ability to record your own voice if you are using a Morpher toy.
Adding extra features allows your child to really immerse themselves into the imagination play Power Ranger toys are able to provide. While you may not want them engaging in a real battle, imagination play is great for kiddos!
Age Recommendation
Power Ranger toys typically are marketed towards older kids. They have small pieces which little hands enjoy putting in their mouth. In addition, anything that transforms requires fine motor skills that little ones don’t necessarily have yet.
However, with Power Rangers making a comeback in the past few years, there is a new generation of fans. Playskool is a good option for the best Power Ranger toys for small children. I tried to find a mix of age ranges when it came to the list.
Durability
With any toys where kids will be imitating their favorite action figures, you want to have a product that provides durability. While the majority of the best Power Ranger toys are plastic, they are built with hard plastic to last through play, time and time again.
Safety Features
Any toys that encourage your children to engage in a “battle” should ensure no one gets hurt. While some of the best Power Ranger toys mimic the battle the real Rangers go through, it’s important to keep things safe.
For the most part, the toys on my list don’t pose any safety concerns, however, anything with projectiles should always be used carefully. In addition, when you buy quality Power Ranger toys, you are ensuring they are non-toxic.

The rarest Power Ranger toys to find tend to be the villains and mentors from the show. While some are available on eBay, you likely don’t want to pay the price tag attached.

Lucky for you, the Power Rangers toys that made my list won’t break the bank like some of these collectibles will!
How much are original Power Ranger toys worth?
If you’re thrilled your child has a love of Power Rangers, because you were a fan as a child, you may wonder if any of your old toys are worth anything. If you have an original Power Ranger toy, circa the early 1990s, you may be able to sell it for a bit of money.
The original action figures may catch you a couple of hundred dollars if you find the right buyer. It’s also ideal to have the action figure in its original packaging, to ensure no damage has been done.
What age is best for the best Power Rangers toys?
The majority of Power Rangers toys are geared towards kids at least 6 years of age or older. However, with the toys gaining in popularity, more toys are being created for little ones. The youngest appropriate age for Power Rangers toys tends to be around 3.
A lot of the Power Rangers toys come with small parts that could pose a choking hazard for the littlest of kids. Several products come with tiny swords and other weapons that small hands could easily put into their mouth.
