The Chicco Bravo is no longer available, however, Chicco has released the Chicco Mini Bravo Plus Lightweight Stroller, which features a one-handed quick fold with a fold and carry handle for this 27.9 lb stroller. Once folded, it is able to stand alone. This stroller does not lack in storage as it includes a child tray as well as a parent zippered pocket with 2 cup holders and a large storage basket.
Unlike the Bravo which only fits the Keyfit car seat, the Mini Bravo Plus has a click-in attachment that works with any Chicco brand car seat. The Britax B-Lively Lightweight Stroller is the replacement for the extremely popular, but retired, Britax B-Agile, which was among the best-rated lightweight strollers on Amazon. The B-Agile can still be purchased in limited availability but Britax has added the term “lightweight” to its title.
However, the new B-Lively has been updated recently with new colors, such as the Raven, Dove, and Cool Flow. This stroller boasts a lightweight aluminum frame of 20 lbs, all wheel suspension, cool flow mesh fabric, quick one-handed fold, reclining seat, large ventilated canopy, and large storage area. Like its predecessor, the B-Lively also can accommodate up to 55 lbs.
This stroller also comes with adaptors for use with Britax infant car seats or you can purchase this stroller along with the B-Safe Gen2 Flex Fit Infant Car seat as a travel system. The infant seat is easy to place into the stroller with the Click and Go Adaptor.
There are many strollers on the market which can double as a travel system with a compatible car seat. Travel system strollers allow for an infant car seat to be attached to them, and also function as a toddler stroller once your child gains better head and neck control.
Two travel system stroller options are the Chicco Bravo and the Britax B-Agile. These two car seats are very similar, with just a few slight differences. Overall, I recommend the Chicco Bravo over the Britax B-Agile because of the Bravo’s ease of use. The Chicco Bravo has a height adjustable push handle, and is easier to fold and store. The B-Agile does have some positives over the Bravo, so depending on what features are most important to you, you should read on to see what option is best for you.
How are they the same?
Large storage basket
The Chicco Bravo and Britax B-Agile both feature a large storage basket. They are both easy to access, with the exception of when seat is reclined all the way. This really happens on most strollers, though, and doesn’t really take away from the stroller as a whole. You should have ample space with either stroller for all of your little one’s belongings!
Quick fold
The Chicco Bravo and the Britax B-Agile both have one-hand easy fold systems. This makes it easier to fold the stroller when you’re holding your little one in your arm! The Chicco Bravo is a bit easier to work with, especially because it will stand on its own when folded. So when you’re loading things into your car, you don’t have to worry about balancing it against something or laying it on the ground.
Price
Both the Chicco Bravo and the Britax B-Agile come in at around the same price. They are both mid-range when it comes to similar strollers on the market. There are stroller systems that you can get for cheaper, but you could also end up spending much more than either the Bravo or the B-Agile. For the quality of either of these strollers, they are fairly priced in my opinion.
Large storage basket
The Chicco Bravo and Britax B-Agile both have large storage baskets for all of your belongings. They both feature baskets that are easy to access, with the exception that the Bravo is a little hard to get to when the seat is reclined all the way. However, when using the Bravo as a frame only, to carry your infant seat, it has great access and plenty of storage for all of your newborn’s needs! I know when you first have your little one, you pack anything and everything – both of these strollers are up to that task.
Compatible as a system
The Chicco Bravo an Britax B-Agile can both be used as a system with infant car seats. The Chicco Bravo allows you to remove the seat and the canopy, leaving just a frame to attach your Chicco Key Fit car seat to. This makes it even lighter than it already is.
The Britax B-Agile is compatible with all Britax infant car seats. You can even buy an adapter separately that makes the B-Agile compatible with some non-Britax infant seats as well. The adapter allows the B-Agile to work with the following infant car seats: Chicco Key Fit, Chicco Key Fit 30, Graco Snugride 32, Graco Snugride 35, and Peg Perego Primo Viaggio. It does not work with Graco Snugride Click Connect car seats.

Child tray
Neither the Bravo or the B-Agile comes with a child tray – the tray that sits in front of your little one to hold their snacks and drinks. You can purchase a child tray separately for both strollers. It’s a little disappointing that it doesn’t come standard with the stroller – my son uses his tray every single time we use our stroller. I also like that it acts as an extra barrier to keep them in the seat, although the 5 point harness itself should be sufficient.
Recline Positions
The Bravo and the B-Agile have similar recline systems. They both have multiple recline positions, and are both very easy to use.

How are they different?
Handle Adjustability
One key feature I look for in a stroller is whether or not the push handle is adjustable. I have tried so many strollers where the handle is not adjustable, causing me hunch to push it or to have my arms at an uncomfortable position. Let’s face it, not everyone is the same height! And with how much these strollers cost, it surprises me when they don’t feature a decent deal of adjustability.
The Chicco Bravo does feature an adjustable push handle – it can be adjusted to three different heights. This allows for comfortable use by a wider range of people. The Britax B-Agile does not have an adjustable handle. If you are average height, you may not have any issues with the height of the handle. If you are on the taller or shorter size, you may find it uncomfortable to push.
Braking System
Another difference between these two strollers is that the Britax B-Agile features a linked braking system, whereas the Chicco Bravo has a two-step lock for the back wheels. This isn’t a huge deal in my opinion. It’s easy enough to just tap two separate brake pedals. As far as ease of use though, this does give the B-Agile some bonus points.
Product weight
The Britax B-Agile is lighter than the Chicco Bravo, coming in at 18 pounds, compared to the Bravo’s 22 pounds. Keep in mind that removing the seat and canopy when using the Bravo as a carrier does take some of that weight off. If weight is a major factor to you, I can see choosing the B-Agile over the Bravo, because overall it will be easier to get into and out of your car, and easier to push in general.
Will it stand on its own?
The Chicco Bravo will stand on its own when folded up. This is a very helpful feature when trying to get your stroller and your little one into and out of the car. It also comes in handy when storing the stroller. The Britax B-Agile does not stand on its own. Honestly, this is one of the B-Agile’s biggest downfalls.
Although you may have extra weight lifting the Bravo into your trunk, you have the option of letting it stand on its own while you get everything situated. It’s just so much easier in my opinion to deal with a stroller that stands on its own when folded.
Child weight maximum
The Bravo and B-Agile have very similar weight maximums, with the Bravo having a weight limit of 50 pounds, and the B-Agile having a weight limit of 55 pounds. This 5 pounds probably won’t make a huge difference in the long run, but it is still worth noting.

My Recommendation
The Bravo and the B-Agile both have their pluses and downfalls. It’s a pretty close call, but my ultimate recommendation is the Chicco Bravo over the Britax B-Agile. I chose the Chicco Bravo because of it’s versatility. It has an adjustable handlebar, making it suitable for people in a wide range of heights. The Chicco Bravo is heavier, but the fact that it can stand on its own when folded kind of resolves that issue in my opinion.
The Britax B-Agile is lighter, so if product weight is a major factor to you, you may side with the B-Agile instead. Also, depending on what infant car seat you are using, the B-Agile is compatible with a wider range of seats, so this could be a major factor too.
