I get excited about strollers. I’d almost consider myself a stroller geek. I love seeing all the neat features that the top strollers have to offer. Graco often has some of the best of the best, so choosing the best Graco Strollers wasn’t easy.
In my opinion, the best strollers should make my life easier, all while providing a comfortable ride for my little one. Graco provides a wide range of strollers in every category and I dug deep to find the Graco strollers you shouldn’t miss out on.
Best Graco Lightweight Stroller
Lightweight strollers are a good balance of an umbrella stroller and a traditional stroller. They provide a lighter weight but typically with a few extra features. Thankfully, the price of lightweight strollers stays relatively inexpensive.
They typically are easy to fold and easily can fit in the trunk of your car. Lightweight strollers are perfect for traveling because you can easily cruise through the airport with one. In addition, they are great for storage. The last thing you need is something else taking up space in your house.
In my opinion, you shouldn’t spend a fortune on a lightweight stroller. While you still want a durable stroller, you aren’t paying for all the bells and whistles.
There is no doubt that Graco knows how to deliver when it comes to lightweight strollers, so I ran into a bit of a tie in this category.
Graco Nimblelite Stroller
The Graco Nimblelite Stroller conveniently weighs less than 14 pounds, making it easy to open with just one hand. Although lightweight, it can hold a child up to 50 pounds. This stroller was previously named the Graco Jetsetter.
Firstly, the lightweight stroller can connect with any Graco Click Connect infant car seat. This isn’t something you typically get with smaller strollers. When your infant seat is installed, you can use both the canopy from the seat and the stroller for extra coverage. It just gives your baby extra protection from the outside world.
Secondly, with the option of a 3 or 5 point harness, the stroller will grow right alongside your child. In addition, it has adjustable calf support for added comfort.
The Graco Nimblelite stroller takes two hands to fold. Moms are always juggling babies, bags, and everything else so it’s unfortunate that two hands are required to close the stroller. The stroller does come with a large storage basket underneath which is always a nice bonus on the smaller strollers.
Thirdly, the seat has a multi-position reclining option, making it easy to find the most comfortable position for your little one. The toddler seat has a removable arm bar so your kiddo has something to hold on to. However, the bar does not provide cup holders or a snack tray. In addition, there are no cup holders for the parent.
I like that the handles of the stroller sit a bit higher which helps prevent the parent from bending over when pushing. I have never enjoyed having to slouch while pushing a stroller. It’s always been my issue with the smaller strollers.
Finally, the stroller comes with a carrying case, which can come in handy for traveling. I find this helpful when flying. I’ve had strollers break during transport because I don’t have them protected. Putting your stroller in a carry bag can help prevent potential damage. It’s really the little things I love most.
Graco Aire3 Lightweight Stroller
The sleek look of the Graco Aire3 Lightweight Stroller isn’t the only thing it has going for itself.
Firstly, the stroller weighs less than 21 pounds, making it slightly bigger than other lightweight strollers, but still within the range of what is considered lightweight. It makes it easy to lift and transport in and out of your car’s trunk.
My personal judgment of whether a stroller is considered lightweight is if I can hold my baby in one arm while lifting the stroller into the car with my other one.
Secondly, all Graco Click Connect infant car seats securely fit onto the stroller with just a one-step attachment. What sets this stroller apart from other lightweight ones is the three-wheel design. It provides easy maneuverability and a smoother ride. However, they are not air-filled tires like those you would find on a jogging stroller. They are still the traditional plastic wheels.
In addition, the parent’s tray comes with a zippered storage area and two cup holders. I’m a fan of the zippered compartment. I’ve bought accessories that come with this, but haven’t had a stroller with it built-in. Well done, Graco.
Thirdly, the seat has a multi-position reclining feature, allowing you to choose the comfort level for your little one. You can even create a cozy infant bassinet.
Underneath, you get a generously sized storage basket. On top is an extra-large canopy to provide extra coverage for your kiddo. Folding up the stroller is a breeze with the one-step closing feature. It even stands on its own once it’s folded up.
Finally, the Graco Aire3 has a maximum weight capacity of 50 pounds. While I’ve seen that on larger strollers, you don’t often get that on lightweight strollers.
The Aire3 is a little pricier than other lightweight strollers but I personally feel it has enough features to become your everyday stroller and therefore making it worth the higher price tag.
Best Graco Jogging Stroller
I love jogging strollers. You don’t have to be a marathon runner to love a good jogging stroller. However, if you are a runner, you will appreciate the smoother ride it will provide to you and your child.
Jogging strollers, in general, are built differently than a regular stroller. For starters, they have three wheels versus the traditional four. In addition, the wheels are actually air-filled tires.
You don’t necessarily have to exercise to reap the benefits of a jogging stroller. They go over rough terrain much easier than regular strollers, meaning your baby doesn’t feel every bump and tough road along the way.
It is recommended not to run with your baby until they are at least 6-8 months old for safety reasons. Before that, they don’t quite have the neck and head control to handle the fast movements. Once you do have them join in on your own, make sure to start off slow.
Graco FastAction Jogging Stroller
What’s great about the Graco FastAction Jogging Stroller is you can either use it as a regular stroller or snap on your Graco Click Connect infant car seat. I like that you don’t need an extra attachment for the car seat to fit. In other jogging strollers on the market, you have to buy an additional piece.
Firstly, you’ll notice the wheels are different on this one. As opposed to the plastic wheels of most strollers, these are rubber air-filled tires. Keep in mind, you will have to fill them from time to time. Graco recommends using a hand pump to fill the tires with air.
The front wheel can either be in its swivel mode or be locked for extra security when running. With just a quick flip, you can easily switch from one mode to the other.
Secondly, closing this stroller up couldn’t be easier. With just one step, you pull up, and voila, your stroller is closed and can even stand up by itself with a built-in kickstand. Thank you, Graco.
The children’s tray comes with two cup holders and can pivot or be removed for easily getting your child in or out of the stroller. As my kids got older, I had such a difficult time lifting them out behind the tray, so I appreciate the ability to pivot the tray on the FastAction Jogger.
Thirdly, I really feel like this stroller was built with parents in mind. There is an extra-large storage basket underneath. Anyone else gets frustrated when you can’t even fit your diaper bag below? No problems there with the Graco FastAction Jogger.
In addition, it comes with an adjustable handle which I love. It means if you are tall, like me, you can easily adjust it to your preference. It also has a great parent’s tray with two cup holders and a storage area to keep your phone secure.
The jogger can hold up to 50 pounds, which means you have several years to run with your number one running partner. The jogger itself weighs right around 35 lbs. It is a little bulkier, so larger trunk space is a must.
Finally, this version can be a Graco jogging travel system, which is why it is often sold with the Graco SnugRide SnugLock 30 Infant Car Seat. This offers great flexibility and means that this can be the only stroller and car seat combo that you’ll need to purchase.
Best Graco Umbrella Stroller
I’ll be honest, I have a love-hate relationship with umbrella strollers. I find them to be incredibly convenient because they are so lightweight and can fit in any trunk size. However, my tall height causes me to bend over quite a bit while pushing them (just one way that parenting can cause back pain!).
That being said, umbrella strollers typically come at a great price. You aren’t getting all the bells and whistles but if you find the right one, you get a quality stroller at a much lower price than others on the market.
Finally, umbrella strollers make great traveling strollers. You aren’t investing as much money in one, so if it gets lost or broken along the way, at least you know it’s wasn’t your more elaborate stroller. Although, it’s still no fun when this happens.
Graco Travelite Umbrella Stroller
What I like about the Graco Travelite Umbrella Stroller is it’s a bit sturdier than other umbrella strollers on the market.
Firstly, it can hold kiddos up to 40 pounds. The stroller has an adjustable calf support allowing your child to remain comfortable as they grow. The reclining seat has a variety of positions to choose from, which can come in handy if your little one decides it’s time to take a nap while you’re out.
It can almost lay flat which is a huge plus for me. It almost makes a bassinet like seat for your child.
Secondly, the stroller easily folds up quickly and comes with a storage latch to keep it folded together. In addition, the bar across the toddler’s seat provides them with something to grab onto but unfortunately does not offer cup holders. You can, however, attach toys to the bar to give your kiddo something to play with.
However, it’s one of the few umbrella strollers with a parent cup holder. It also has a nicely sized storage basket underneath, large enough for your bag.
Thirdly, the canopy offers some protection for your little one. It’s not the largest I’ve seen but it does provide some shade. The storage basket isn’t huge but it’s still a decent size for what you are getting.
The front wheels do swivel but can be locked if you choose. In addition, the front wheels rotate in all directions which helps when maneuvering around. For an umbrella stroller, I feel it provides a smooth ride.
Finally, I personally feel the Graco Travelite Umbrella Stroller is a step above the majority of umbrella strollers. I find the price to be reasonable but it’s going to cost more than the most basic of umbrella strollers. It makes the perfect travel stroller.
Best Graco Double Stroller
Unlike other stroller brands, Graco doesn’t really offer side-by-side strollers. Instead, they offer several tandem strollers or sit and stands. I, personally, am not a fan of a sit and stand stroller. I like the idea of them, but I found them difficult to push. Much like those race car shopping carts at the grocery store, minus the kids being side-by-side.
However, if you have more than one child, a double stroller is almost a necessity. I loved having a double stroller. It’s probably one of my favorite pieces of baby gear I’ve owned. It’s so convenient to have both kiddos strapped in.
Some double strollers can be really heavy and bulky. You are fitting two humans in it, so it’s likely going to be bigger than a traditional stroller. It’s always a plus when it’s easy to fold up your stroller and put it in your trunk.
Graco Modes Duo Stroller
The Graco Modes Duo Double Stroller gives you 27 different riding options. I didn’t even realize that was possible until I discovered this stroller! So, sit tight, you’re going to want to hear about this one.
Firstly, you can accommodate a wide range of ages with this double stroller. From infancy to your older kiddos, the stroller converts to your specific needs. Your back seat can be removed and converted to a bench seat or a place for older kids to stand.
If you are a twin mama and are attaching two car seats, you can take the seats off and easily just snap them to the frame to help make the stroller lighter. Both seats are easily removable to help figure out which of the 27 different riding options fits your current needs.
In addition, both seats can accommodate up to 50 pounds. My hat goes off to all the mamas pushing around two 50 pound kiddos in the Graco Modes Duo. Both seats are also able to recline at the same time.
Secondly, the stroller grows right alongside your kids. You can select from either using the 3 or 5 point harness as your child starts to get bigger.
The stroller is equipped with an extra-large storage basket underneath. If you are pushing around two kiddos, you are bound to need the extra space.
Thirdly, it is equipped with extra wheels in an effort to help every turn you make seem a little more manageable. The wheels are made of lightweight molded plastic.
It is not equipped with a parent tray, however, there is a cup holder on the side of the handlebars. The kids’ seats have an armbar with one cupholder each. I have always liked when there is a snack tray, but unfortunately, the Graco Modes Duo does not come with one.
Finally, as an important note, the stroller can be folded closed only when the seats are both forward-facing. If you remove the seats before closing, the stroller will lay flat and compact. Otherwise, the seats do add bulkiness when folded up.
The stroller is heavy, too. With both seats installed, it weighs a whopping 42 lbs. Add two 50 lb kiddos and you are pushing nearly 150 lbs. Who needs a gym when you have that?
If the Graco Modes Duo Double Stroller doesn’t quite fit your needs, we have you covered on a variety of double strollers if you are looking for other features, like side-by-side seating.
Best Graco Travel System Stroller
I remember my Graco Travel System. That Graco stroller and car seat lasted me through all three of my children. The infant car seat held up for each and every baby of mine. Since my kids were born back to back, I thankfully didn’t have the opportunity for the car seat to expire.
I loved the ease of snapping the car seat onto the stroller and then easily transferring it to the car. Do you know what’s great about not having to take your baby out of their car seat to move them? Not taking the chance of waking them up.
Travel systems pretty much provide everything you need. Once they outgrow their infant seat, you simply use the stroller as you normally would. I remember someone told me I didn’t need the travel system when I registered for my first child. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to them.
Graco Modes Bassinet Travel System
The Graco Modes Bassinet Travel System gives you everything you need to start your new life with your newborn. The travel system includes both the stroller and SnugRide SnugLock 35 infant car seat. The seat does include the base needed to install the car seat into your car.
Firstly, the 3 in 1 stroller offers 9 different riding options. Just like the name says, it comes with three different modes: infant stroller, infant bassinet (pram), and toddler stroller.
When the stroller is in the infant car seat carrier mode, you can install your car seat with just one click. You only need to use the frame of the stroller which makes it a lightweight option. In addition, your baby can sit rear-facing to see you, or forward-facing to check out the outside world.
What sets this stroller apart from others is the ability to transform into a bassinet. It allows your baby to lie down and sleep soundly while you push away. Also, the seat can either be forward or rear-facing. Once your baby is able to roll over, it’s best to transition them out of the bassinet for safety reasons.
Once your child grows, you can utilize the toddler stroller mode. This mode fits children up to 50 lbs and the leg rest adjusts to three different positions, easily accommodating your little one as they grow.
You can choose either a 3 or 5 point harness for safety. In addition, the child tray easily can be removed to help your kiddos get in and out easily. I am thoroughly impressed with the canopy on this stroller. It extends farther than any others I’ve seen. It even has a zipper extension to provide maximum coverage.
Secondly, the Graco Modes Bassinet Stroller is so easy to fold. With a touch of a button, you can close it up and have it stand upright. It also comes with a generously sized storage basket underneath.
In addition, the parent’s tray is equipped with two cup holders and a covered storage area. The kids get their own snack tray with two cup holders.
Thirdly, the stroller rides very smooth. The front wheels swivel easily but can also be locked for security.
While I had an older version, this is the Graco stroller I had when my first was born. I was able to use it for all 3 of my kiddos and only got rid of it because they outgrew it. Even after 3 kids, it still was in perfect condition. I can also attest, it is the easiest stroller to fold up!
Finally, your infant can fit comfortably in the car seat until they hit the 35 lb mark. For more information about car seats, check out our extensive review of infant seats here.
Best All-Around Graco Stroller
To finish up my list of the best Graco strollers is what I consider to be the best all-around stroller. It’s one that I feel deserved its own category based on what it has to offer.
I love how creative Graco has been with their strollers and how they really think ahead when it comes to creating them. So whether you have one child or two, my best all-around Graco stroller will surely fit your needs.
Graco Uno2Duo Stroller
I find the Graco Uno2Duo Stroller to be incredibly fascinating. It allows 8 different ways to ride, including the ability to extend from a single stroller to a double. The stroller extends 5″ in the back to provide a standing platform for your older child. So you can easily buy this stroller for your first kiddo and then keep using it for number two.
The Uno2Duo stroller easily can transform from bassinet to seat, as your baby goes from infant to toddler. The seat reclines, allowing you to pick the perfect height for your baby. In the bassinet setting, it lays completely flat, allowing a comfortable place for your little one to nap. It’s recommended to switch out of the bassinet set up once your baby is rolling over.
The child’s snack tray includes two cup holders. There is one cup holder for the parents, and a side storage container. The stroller itself, without any added seats, weighs about 23 pounds, which I find to be a nice size for lifting in and out of the car.
While the stroller isn’t your typical double, it still is extremely efficient in pushing around two kiddos. Once your kids start getting older, they don’t necessarily need to be sitting the whole time in the stroller. Having a place for them to stand allows them to give their legs a bit of a break.
When your older kiddo is riding along, the smaller child in the seat can either face outwards or in towards their big sibling. If you have two small children, you can order a second seat to allow both the opportunity to have to sit. It then creates a tandem stroller. Both seats each have a weight capacity of 50 lbs. Keep in mind, if you add a second seat in the back, you are not able to add a snack tray for it.
In addition, the stroller has a one-hand fold which is always convenient, especially if you are juggling two kids. The stroller is also compatible with all Graco Click Connect infant car seats. Keep in mind, it is only capable of holding one car seat, so this isn’t the stroller for newborn twins.
Finally, I love the storage space on the Uno2Duo. It offers a large basket to begin with, but once you extend the standing platform, it gets even bigger. If you are cruising around with two kids, you are going to want all that storage!
I feel the Uno2Duo gives the best of both worlds when it comes to single and double strollers. It’s not bulky like some double strollers and you can choose when you want the extra spot to be available for another child. The standing board easily can be pulled out when needed and pushed back in when not in use.

Graco Stroller Accessories
Sometimes a stroller has everything we want, except for one little detail. Unfortunately, Graco doesn’t offer many additional accessories to add to your stroller. They do, however, have some great products for keeping your baby dry and warm.
The Graco Rain Cover is the perfect accessory to stash away in your storage basket, just in case you get caught in the rain. It’s also the perfect item to bring on your next Disney World trip. The rain cover provides plenty of ventilation to ensure your baby is getting a sufficient amount of airflow. It even comes with a storage pocket to keep your personal items dry.
In addition, Graco offers a Stroller Footmuff to keep your little one nice and warm in the cold weather. The soft Sherpa material offers the perfect outdoor blanket for babies. It has pre-cut holes so you can easily buckle your kiddo right in and attach it to your stroller. Think of it as a sleeping bag for their stroller.
While Graco doesn’t have their own line of add-ons, there are plenty of universal cup holders on the market. Other fun accessories like fans, toys, and bag hooks are always an option as well.
Graco Vs. Chicco
Whenever you are making large baby gear purchases, it’s easy to be overwhelmed with the variety of brands on the market. In addition to Graco being a popular choice, you likely have seen strollers by Chicco. Both companies have been around for over five decades and are very reputable when it comes to baby products.
Each brand offers car seats for infants all the way up to big kids. In addition, Graco and Chicco both have strollers fitting every category: umbrellas, joggers, lightweight, and travel systems. Chicco does carry double strollers but they don’t quite match up to what Graco has to offer.
When it comes to the Graco vs. Chicco travel system question, I personally feel Graco comes out on top. Both brands have quality travel systems, however, Graco is a much more affordable option. What’s nice about Graco is they have travel systems in just about every price range. On the other hand, Chicco has a pretty high price tag on all of them.
People tend to be very brand loyal when it comes to baby products. Once you find a brand you can trust, you don’t want to test the waters with other ones. I’m guilty of this. You can’t go wrong with either one of these companies, but you will get a better deal with Graco.
Buying Criteria for Graco Strollers
The best Graco strollers provide the right amount of necessary features and bonus features. You also want your stroller to last. I find strollers to be an investment. I’m willing to spend a little more on a specific stroller if it’s going to last me a long time.
Useful Features
I don’t feel we need much as moms when it comes to strollers. However, a large storage basket and a parent tray to put our water bottle would top my list of features I want in a stroller.
I will say, having a stroller that folds quickly and easily is extremely helpful. There is nothing more frustrating than having to press multiple buttons in order for your stroller to close up.
Finally, I can tell you from experience, being able to click your car seat right on top of your stroller is an amazing feature.
Total Durability
When you invest money in something, you want it to last, especially if you have multiple kids. My favorite baby products are those I was able to use with each of my three kids. Granted, I had all three of mine in the span of 3.5 years, but I still want the product to last.
You can buy a $20 umbrella stroller easily, but it likely won’t last you. Spending a little bit more money on one more structurally sound will ensure it will last for several years.
Reasonable Price
I feel like price always plays a factor when you are choosing baby gear. You can spend several hundred dollars on a Graco stroller or you can get one for under a hundred dollars that perfectly fits your need.
I’m always a fan of brands that offer a wide range of prices but still don’t skimp on quality. Remember, while you may save money by buying a cheap stroller, you’re likely going to have to replace it and spend even more money.
FAQs About Graco Strollers
Is Graco a good stroller brand?
Graco has been around for over 65 years and is one of the most trusted brands out there. They provide quality products at reasonable prices, which has made a fan out of me.
It’s one of those brands that immediately pops into your head with you think of strollers and car seats. In fact, my three kids are all in Graco convertible car seats.
Graco offers a wide variety of stroller types and typically it’s not hard to find one in your price range. I also find it’s worth spending a little more money for a durable product that will last. Finally, I like that even the basic Graco strollers have extra features like a storage basket and canopy.
When do you stop using a stroller?
This certainly varies from child to child. Every child grows differently and my 3-year-old may be more difficult to push than your 3-year-old. It’s a good idea to check the weight limit on your stroller to see what is recommended.
There are some strollers with a weight limit of 50 pounds. That easily could be a 6-year-old. I, personally, couldn’t imagine pushing my 1st grader around in a stroller. The best Graco strollers will last you from the day you bring your baby home from the hospital until they reach the weight capacity.
What’s the best way to clean a Graco stroller?
My youngest child gets car sick very easily so I’ve done my fair share of cleaning up strollers and car seats in my years as a parent. Using mild soap and warm water, you can easily do some spot cleaning on the cushion of your stroller. For larger messes, I recommend removing the seat cover and washing it by hand.
It’s not recommended to run the seat through the washing machine. It’s always good to check the owner’s manual for specific cleaning guidelines. In general, it works if you give it a good scrub down and let it air dry. You don’t want to run them through the dryer to avoid shrinking. In addition, never use bleach on your stroller.
Do I need a jogging stroller?
This really comes down to preference. I never used my jogger as my main stroller. It was a double and way too bulky for everyday use. It’s also a bit of an ordeal to get in and out of the car.
If you don’t foresee using your stroller for any other purpose but running errands, you likely don’t need a jogging stroller. Jogging strollers are great for rougher terrain and bumpy roads. Also, if you are walking a long distance, a jogging stroller will be easier to push for an extended period of time.
When I lived in Southern California, I walked everywhere. I couldn’t imagine not having my double jogging stroller to get around.
Are Graco double strollers hard to push?
I have tested many double strollers in my nearly 7 years as a mom and I can tell you there are some on the market that are much harder to push than others. Graco double strollers seem to push reasonably well.
Just remember that double strollers are naturally going to weigh more. You have to fit two children, after all. If your double stroller has tires versus plastic wheels and you are having trouble pushing it, check the air in your tires. I always could tell when mine was due for a fill-up. My children all of a sudden became twice as heavy.
