Rachel Lacy is an educator who has worked with children long before she became a mother herself.
Rachel received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arizona and has worked with children for the past 15 years. She has taught kindergarten, first grade and gifted education for grades kindergarten through fifth grade.
Her experience runs the gamut – from curriculum writing to infant and toddler development. She was a service coordinator for an early intervention program, which focused on children from birth to three years old.
Rachel is passionate about writing and helping others. She is grateful that she gets to combine the two as a contributor to Experienced Mommy.
Rachel is originally from Chicago but lives in Arizona with her husband and toddler daughter. Her family is thrilled to welcome a baby boy due in August 2021.
