Nishoni Harvey is a published author and writing coach who shares her gifts of authenticity and vulnerability with her readers and mentees.
Nishoni began writing for her local newspaper at just 16 years old. Today, she has been published numerous times, as well as worked as a ghostwriter for 16 best-selling books. She also offers author services to authors, such as editing, formatting, and author coaching.
She also runs several blogs, including one on parenting with mental illness and parenting children with mental illness. Nishoni hopes to help others by opening up about struggling through postpartum depression and psychosis, as well as living with anxiety and bipolar disorder. She also writes about her children who live with mental illness.
Nishoni has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Secondary Education. She has taught children in preschool through tenth grade for 15 years. She also homeschools her kids.
Her entire family is involved in ministry. Her husband is an associate pastor and music director. Nishoni and her four children, ages 7, 9, 12 and 15, also play music at church.
Nishoni and her husband are certified foster parents and will be caring for children in their home. They hope to adopt if given the opportunity.
